As an illustrator, my job is to produce quality work that serves a purpose for a client. As an artist, my goal is to constantly work on my craft of visual storytelling and improve my skills with every project I take on. In order to balance these priorities (while juggling a 40+ hours/week day job) and maintain the high level of quality expected of my work, I use a client-centered workflow process that I have developed and improved over the past seven years as an industry professional and freelance illustrator. This process begins with an in-depth dialogue about the scope and content of a project. This initial communication helps me ensure that our goals align and that I feel confident in my ability to deliver quality work that meets the needs of my client.
